BUSINESS ACTIVITY
Kgodisano Agricultural Hub is a wholly black female registered private company, which was set up to assist small holder essential oil farmers in the Gauteng region with distillation technology.
BUSINESS PRIOR TO PARTICIPATING ON CED
The business was unregistered, unstructured, lacking proper description and focus prior to CED. We only had the idea and we had no clue how execute and literally no plan for execution. Starting a business was a dream we were happy to share the tale with friends and family with no focussed intention and hope of taking it further than just talk.
BUSINESS HIGHLIGHTS SINCE ENROLLING ON CED
We have grown as a business from idea to almost business gurus. We now have a registered business, with an industry appropriate logo. Exposure to different mentoring sessions has opened us up to a world of reality and while we are thinking Big, we are careful to start small. Which is what the program encouraged us to do, START now-
POSITIVE BUSINESS OUTCOMES ATTRIBUTED TO CED PARTICIPATION
With a better understanding of my business model and becoming more focused toward establishing and growing a profitable and sustainable business we also have a better understanding of business finance and operations toward my growth and profitability.-We were also able to acquire more land and negotiate lease plans with knowledge gained from various mentoring sessions
ASPIRATIONS FOR THE BUSINESS
We aim to be at the centre of small scale essential oil distillation and marketing to help feed the growing demand for essential oils globally.
NEXT LEVEL FUNDING REQUIREMENT AND WHAT IS THE ANTICIPATED GROWTH OF THE BUSINESS AT THIS NEXT LEVEL
Moving onto the implementation stage of our business, we are planting cash crops to raise funds for our first distillation machine.
